Presentation of Living Lab InnoRenew in Opatija

The Croatian Wood Cluster organized an international conference, “Forseda: Wood and Innovations in Opatija”, which highlighted opportunities for creation of innovative products that forest-based industries can offer. The conference brought representatives from SMEs in this sector together with other industries.

Kim Turk Mehes, Living Lab InnoRenew manager, and Marica Mikuljan, researcher, attended the event to network and promote Living Lab InnoRenew and the InnoRenew CoE, which are fostering a culture of open innovation and developing new value chains and business models that meet user-identified needs. At the conference, they were introduced to innovative research projects and methodologies used to develop innovations in practice.

Currently, Living Lab InnoRenew has more than 100 members from 70 different countries.
