Dr. Andreja Kutnar and Bogdan Božac at the 27th International Wood Construction Conference

Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director and Bogdan Božac, InnoRenew CoE assistant director, attended the 27th International Wood Construction Conference about Wood Governance across Europe and beyond, held in Innsbruck, Austria.

Dr. Andreja Kutnar took part of the session dedicated to the topic of The European wood policy platform (woodPoP) and presented the education and vocational training. Slovenia, in collaboration with InnoRenew CoE, has taken over the leadership of the Technical Working Group on education and vocational training in the woodPoP initiative.

The conference was organized by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management with the aim to discuss about how can governance accelerate progress in enhancing the sustainable use of wood and other renewable materials across Europe and beyond by fostering a forest-based bioeconomy.
