The InnoRenew CoE researchers at SOR’19

The 15th International Symposium on Operations Research in Slovenia (SOR’19) took place 25-27 September 2019 in Bled. According to the event website, “SOR provides an international forum for scientific exchange at the frontiers of operations research in mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, education, environment, and computer science.”

Dean Lipovac and László Hajdu, assistant researchers at the InnoRenew CoE, attended SOR’19 and took part in the “Optimization in Human Environments” session where they presented their research, “Minimizing Human Stress in Social Networks with Targeted Interventions”.
Dr Dávid Balázs, researcher in the InnoRenew CoE’s Information and Computer Technologies (ICT) group, also attended and gave a talk in the “Mathematical Programming and Optimization” session, titled “A Tabu Search Method for Optimizing Heterogeneous Structural Frames”.
