Miklós is the research group leader in Information processing at the InnoRenew CoE.
He pursued his undergraduate and graduate studies in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Szeged, Hungary. He received his PhD in 2005.
His main research areas are industrially motivated optimization methods, data driven industrial solutions and the integration of operations research and data science methodologies. Both fundamental and applied research in the above fields is in the focus of his interest. He was a leading expert in over 50 interdisciplinary and industrial projects in cooperation with biologists, physicists, chemists, transport and telecommunication engineers, and business analysts.
Miklós also holds an associate professor position at the Department of Applied Informatics, University of Szeged.
