WoodCircus workshop in Poland

One of the newly acquired InnoRenew CoE projects, Underpinning the vital role of the forest-based sector in the Circular Bio-Economy – WoodCircus, hosted the first stakeholder workshop in Warsaw, Poland on 31st January 2019.

The leader of this project for the InnoRenew CoE is Dr Michael Burnard. He attended the workshop, together with our Living Lab InnoRenew manager and policy consultant, Kim Turk Mehes. The project partners worked with stakeholders to learn about the current state in wood reuse and recycling as well as making better use of side streams from wood processing.

Moreover, they discussed future steps for the development of the project.
