The InnoRenew CoE International Conference 2023, “Interdisciplinary solutions for sustainable buildings,” will take place 13-14 September 2023, in the InnoRenew CoE building, in Izola, Slovenia.
The keynote speaker will be Alan Organschi, a principal and partner at Gray Organschi Architecture, an architectural practice in New Haven, Connecticut, USA, and director of the Innovation Labs at the Bauhaus Earth, a global interdisciplinary initiative that seeks to transform the building sector.
IRIC2023 will provide a forum to explore renewable materials and their use for creating healthy, sustainable buildings during different thematic sessions related to:
- Sustainable Solutions for Environmental Impacts, Recycling, and Design Optimization
- New European Bauhaus (Co-design, Solutions, Aesthetics)
- Engineered Living Materials
- Sustainable Construction and Sustainable Buildings
- Knowledge Transfer, Social Impacts, and Human Health and Preferences
- Interdisciplinary Topics for Sustainable Buildings
The conference is an opportunity to share and discuss emerging science and innovations in renewable materials that can be used in the built environment to enhance human and environmental well-being.
Additionally, Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, and the IRIC2023 keynote speaker Alan Organschi, will close the conference with a discussion on Micro-credentials within NEBAP Hub. The NEBAP Hub, recently established at the University of Primorska, is focusing on the sustainable built environments that are regenerative and inclusive spaces that minimise environmental impacts through decarbonisation and lead to positive societal and economic impacts, including health and wellbeing. It will offer trainings for the construction ecosystem through the use of bio-based materials, digital technologies, and increased circularity in order to accelerate decarbonisation of homes and buildings in Europe and beyond.
Visit the IRIC2023 webpage for more information and registration. The registration deadline is 28 August 2023.
You are also kindly invited to become an IRIC2023 sponsor, if you would like to increase your visibility within the interdisciplinary field of renewable materials for healthy built environments. Contact us at conference@innorenew.eu for more details.
