InnoRenew CoE hosted members of the Forest-Wood Working Group

The Forest-Wood Working Group of the Wood industry directorate at the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport held its third meeting at the InnoRenew CoE building.

Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, welcomed the members and presented some of the key institute’s activities. In addition, Dr. Daša Majcen, InnoRenew CoE researcher, presented her MSCA research project and held a workshop about stakeholder perceptions of the state and development directions of the Slovenian wood industry. Within this workshop, stakeholders gave their preliminary thoughts on the draft research work on the economic-environmental situation and potential of the wood industry and its sub-sectors.

The group continued their working activities with a visit to the Port of Koper. Forest-Wood Working Group is appointed by the Government to define measures to revitalise the forest-wood chain in Slovenia.
