The workshop brought together researchers and experts to discuss the future of the modern built environment, where sustainability goals and fire safety objectives should be clearly defined to ensure their achievement. The event represented also the official scientific kick-off event of the FRISSBE project, part of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.

FRISSBE representatives also guided all the participants through the new research facilities and building.
