Wood4Bauhaus event at InnoRenew CoE

InnoRenew CoE is hosting “The New European Bauhaus: Fostering healthy, climate-friendly building with wood,” a Wood4Bauhaus event to celebrate the Festival of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) week. The event takes place 12–13 June 2022 in InnoRenew CoE’s building in Izola, Slovenia.

The objective is to discuss and share reflections following the NEB high-level conference “Reconstructing the Future for People and Planet—a New Bauhaus Initiative,” where Wood4Bauhaus will present the rising importance of timber in the built environment.

Moderators will be Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, and Uwe Kies, InnovaWood Secretary General.

Dr. Iztok Šušteršič, InnoRenew CoE research group leader for Sustainable Building with Renewable Materials, will present timber buildings to create healthy living environments.

Participants will also enjoy a guided tour of the InnoRenew CoE building and demonstrations of the institute’s state-of-the-art analytical equipment for innovation and new product development.

See the detailed program for how to register and attend the event.
