InnoRenew CoE hosted Kristine Meile from the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry

InnoRenew CoE’s Renewable Materials Composites group recently hosted Kristine Meile from the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry. The visit was within the framework of her post-doctoral project, “A biorefinery approach to the separation and application of the products of lignocellulose pyrolysis.”

During her visit, she became acquainted with InnoRnew CoE’s research infrastructure for obtaining and separating pyrolysis products. She received hands-on experience with HPLC instruments used to separate the condensable products of pyrolysis.

She also met with InnoRenew CoE researchers and presented her research at the weekly staff meeting.
