InnoRenew CoE research published in Sustainability

Researchers from InnoRenew CoE and University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy—Dr Darija Gajić, Slobodan Peulić, Tim Mavrič, Dr Anna Sandak, Dr Črtomir Tavzes, Milica Malešević and Mladen Slijepčević—recently published a scientific article in Sustainability, an open access journal with an impact factor of 2.576.

Energy Retrofitting Opportunities Using Renewable Materials—Comparative Analysis of the Current Frameworks in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Slovenia” was produced within the framework of the bilateral project “Strategies for improvement of energy efficiency of residential buildings through retrofitting”.

In this bilateral project, possible applications of renewable materials for buildings’ energy optimization is being studied, and InnoRenew CoE is responsible for providing examples of best practices regarding retrofitting of residential buildings in Slovenia, identifying potential barriers to the implementation of recommended retrofitting solutions and developing strategies for knowledge transfer between participating countries.
