Dr Andreja Kutnar now a member of the Young Academy of Europe

The InnoRenew CoE Director, Dr Andreja Kutnar, who received the Zois Award for important scientific achievements in the field of wood science in November, just received another award as she became a member of the Young Academy of Europe.

The Academy is a pan-European initiative of outstanding young scientists for networking, scientific exchange and science policy. It unites excellent young scientists who are making a major contribution to the development of science through their work. The members of the Academy strive to include the views and ideas of the younger population into the creation of European science policies and the development of different strategies.

We are very happy that our director became part of this non-governmental academy based on her work in the field of wood science, which contributes significantly to the development of the science in the EU and beyond.
