Treteknisk is a research and development center for the sawmill and timber industry in Norway. Recently, they organized a meeting in Oslo.

Dr Michael Burnard, our deputy director and research group leader for Human Health in the Built Environment, joined the meeting. The discussion covered the topics of wood and health. Dr Burnard presented his recent experiments showing that wood can be used to improve stress responses and stress recovery in buildings.
