The InnoRenew CoE organized a 2-day project partners meeting that took place in Koper on 6th and 7th March 2018. The event was attended by project partners and by InnoRenew CoE employees.
The aim of the meeting was to give an overview of the main activities of the centre of excellence with an emphasis on the Work Package 5 – InnoRenew CoE RDI activities and Work Package 6 – Start-up projects. Participants and the leaders of the start-up projects presented the beginnings, the current development, the challenges they met in the process, and the expected results of the projects. Moreover, research group leaders of the InnoRenew CoE presented their RDI plans and introduced the researchers that are part of the research groups. All participants also had an opportunity to join one of the research groups on a workshop where research group leaders together with InnoRenew researchers discussed and specifically defined the further course of work.
The director of the InnoRenew CoE, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Andreja Kutnar, presented the past and the future activities of Work Package 2 – Management of the InnoRenew CoE, Work Package 3 – Human Resource acquisition and training, Work Package 4 – Business services and management of LL, and Work Package 7 – Communication and Dissemination. The project partners meeting was followed by the regular Executive board meeting.
We also organized an evening informal networking event with the purpose to present ourselves and to strengthen the bonds with our project partners.
The 2-day meeting was successfully completed, and we are pleased that the start-up projects and the research groups of the InnoRenew CoE are established and are developing.
