RETRACE, which stands for Systemic Approach for Regions Transitioning towards a Circular Economy, is an interregional cooperation project funded by Interreg Europe and led by the Politecnico di Torino (Italy), with seven other project partners from Slovenia, France, Italy, Spain, and Romania.

As part of one of the project’s objectives, the identification and exchange of 30 good practices in 5 target policy areas, their Slovenian partner, the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, hosted a presentation of Slovenian best practices in circular economy. One of the 8 identified cases of best practice was the InnoRenew Centre of Excellence for Research and Innovation in the Field of Renewable Materials and Healthy Living Environments. It was presented by the centre’s Acting Director, Dr. Andreja Kutnar.
