Dr Nejc Šarabon is the Head of research department for Health at the InnoRenew CoE.

He graduated with two undergraduate degrees (physiotherapy and sport pedagogy) and obtained a PhD in sport science.

He is currently the dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Primorska and head of research at S2P, Science to Practice, ltd. His scientific focus is motor abilities and neuromuscular control in the context of sport performance and health. He is closely involved in bringing scientific advances to society and has authored over ten patents. He is regularly involved with the Slovenian Olympic committee to translate scientific knowledge into practice.

Dr Šarabon prides himself on incorporating theory and practice, research and development, prevention and training, academics, and enterprise to create real health impacts for society.
