Eva Prelovšek Niemelä at the exhibition Les v turizmu Portoroža: včeraj, danes, jutri

Eva Prelovšek Niemelä, InnoRenew CoE architect and researcher, attended the opening of the exhibition Les v turizmu Portoroža: včeraj, danes, jutri.

The exhibition is part of the project WOOD IN TOURISM (LesTur), in which, InnoRenew CoE, together with the faculties of the University of Primorska and the Tourist Board of Portorož, aimed to promote positive attitude towards wood in the design of the offer and image of tourist destinations.

At the opening of the exhibition, Eva Prelovšek Niemelä addressed the guests about the traditional use of wood in Primorska region and the beneficial effects that wood has on people’s health and well-being, which is certainly important also in tourism. She also pointed out that InnoRenew CoE, as an external partner of the project, will transform this exhibition into a travelling one, which will travel to different places in Slovenia over the next two years.
