Publication of data on attitudes towards climate change and innovation activities of Slovenian and Austrian companies in the forest and timber sector

This February the Slovenian Social Science Archive published the data of the survey Attitude towards climate change and innovation activities of Slovenian and Austrian companies in the forest-wood sector (OPSIDP21), which was carried out by InnoRenew CoE in cooperation with the Institute for Environmental System Sciences at the University of Graz in the framework of the bilateral project Innovation activities of Austrian and Slovenian companies in the forest-wood value chain.

The data is based on a survey of 170 Slovenian and 123 Austrian companies that took place in the summer of 2021. Access to the data requires registration, while the metadata (in Slovenian and English) is freely available via the archive’s website. At the end of March this year, a research report was also published (in English) in which answers to individual questions are presented.

Dr. Ana Slavec, the principal investigator and first author of the study, wrote a blog post for the archive’s blog titled Two studies on the innovation activities of companies in the forest-wood sector and their environmental benefits (in Slovenian). This article also summarizes the results of the previous survey on the innovation of companies in the forest-wood sector, which was conducted in 2019 and was also published in ADP last year.
