InnoRenew CoE hosted the European Commissioner Mariya Gabriel

Today, the InnoRenew CoE hosted a part of University of Primorska’s celebrations in the framework of their 20th anniversary.

On this occasion, Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth met with Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, Dr. Klavdija Kutnar, Rector of the University of Primorska, and Milan Bogatič, Mayor of Izola.

The European Commissioner, together with Dr. Igor Papič, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Dr. Jean-Pierre Bourgguignon, Honorary Doctor of UP and Dr. Tiziana Lippiello, Rector of the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and representative of ENIHEI, took part in the round table “How can universities support an innovative Europe?”.

In addition, representatives of the European Network of Higher Education Institutions (ENIHEI) met at the InnoRenew CoE building and took part in a networking event with representatives of the Transform4Europe (T4EU) members.
