InnoRenew CoE hosted Philipp Misselwitz and Alan Organschi from Bauhaus der Erde

InnoRenew CoE hosted Philipp Misselwitz and Alan Organschi from Bauhaus der Erde GmbH, a non-profit organization based in Germany that promotes sustainable construction worldwide.

Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, and Dr. Michael Burnard, InnoRenew CoE deputy director, met with them to discuss the orgaizations’ sustainable construction efforts and identify areas for future partnerships and collaborations.

The visitors joined InnoRenew CoE’s fifth anniversary celebration and opening ceremony for the new InnoRenew CoE building. They toured laboratories and explored creative use for InnoRenew CoE’s state-of-the-art equipment and research expertise to further global sustainable construction efforts.

Bauhaus der Erde’s purpose is “to transform the way we construct and maintain the built environment so that the human species may live in dignity and harmony with the Earth’s natural systems.”

InnoRenew CoE’s goals align well with Bauhaus der Erde, and the institute looks forward to cooperating with them in the future.

Guests visited also the Servite monastery in Koper, where University of Primorska and InnoRenew CoE are collaborating on the renovation.
