InnoRenew CoE will host three lectures from Gdańsk University of Technology

Gdańsk University of Technology (GUT), a leading university and research center in Poland, is a gold member of Living Lab InnoRenew, and InnoRenew CoE will host three of its researchers for lectures in November and December.

On 18 November 2021, Dr. Agata Sommer will present the structure of bacterial cellulose-based nanomaterials, which stems from her interest in the relationships between the properties of polymeric materials and their structure. Dr. Szymon Mania, an assistant professor at GUT’s Faculty of Chemistry, will follow and present how to obtain machining bio-fluids for glued wood treatment.

On 9 December 2021, Dr. Roksana Licow from GUT’s Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering will speak about vibroacoustic signals for diagnostics of railway infrastructure elements, for example, wood sleeper and working machines. Dr. Licow will present results from research on environmental noise and the use of vibration signals to assess the condition of machines.

Registration to attend is required, and a link to access the online lectures will be shared soon.
