InnoRenew CoE Human Health Laboratory

Within InnoRenew CoE’s Human Health Laboratory, researchers study human health in the built environment with a combination of scientific disciplines, including psychology, neurophysiology, ergonomics and kinesiology.

In the video, Nastja Podrekar Loredan, InnoRenew CoE researcher in the fields of ergonomic furniture, sedentary behavior and physical activity, presents how people interact with furniture and how that interaction affects their health.

Dean Lipovac, InnoRenew CoE researcher in the fields of mental health and restorative environments, speaks about people’s health-related behaviors during their day-to-day activities.

Both use the state-of-the-art equipment available in the laboratory.

InnoRenew CoE infrastructure and equipment investments, distributed across eight research laboratories, are financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Republic of Slovenia’s Ministry of Education, Science and Sport.
