Wooden sinks in the InnoRenew CoE building

Lavatories on the first floor of the InnoRenew CoE building will be equipped with double sinks made from Slovenian wood that were produced by Logotowood, a local company from Izola, Slovenia. The oak and linden sinks will bring elements of nature into the indoor space, which is in line with REED – Restorative Environmental and Ergonomic Design.

Logotowood used a CNC machine to cut holes and deepen basins, but each sink’s unique shape was hand-crafted.

The InnoRenew CoE building’s interior will be fully equipped according to REED principles, a design system that emphasises the use of natural materials and creates ergonomic, accessible, adaptable and sustainable buildings. REED has positive impact on human health and well-being, as well as restoration of nature and coherent coexistence between people, the environment and society.
