Survey opportunity: Atmospheric carbon impact from structural building materials

You are kindly invited to fill out a survey to help researchers from the University of Oregon’s (UO) Institute for Health in the Built Environment and NetZED lab gather the “state of knowledge” for structural building materials’ influence on atmospheric carbon.

“We hope to identify the shared and divergent ‘carbon narratives’ across a diversity of built environment stakeholders and reconcile differences using scientific data or identify research gaps through a series of workshops with scientific and industry experts. Special emphasis will be given to biogenic carbon accounting, including forestry practice and material lifecycle pathways. The information collected from this survey will be used to develop a needs assessment paper, provide the basis for convening a workshop with subsequent work sessions and contribute to new educational materials developed for architectural students, practitioners, and their clients.”—UO Institute for Health in the Built Environment
