InnoRenew CoE hosted NIR Italia online

The Italian Society for Near Infrared Spectroscopy (SISNIR), in collaboration with InnoRenew CoE and the University of Primorska, organized the National Symposium of NIR Spectroscopy, NIR Italia online, which was held 24-25 February 2021.

The conference hosted two distinguished keynote speakers, Dr José Manuel Amigo and Dr Ingunn Burud, who shared their years of experience with NIR spectroscopy. Prof Dolores Perez-Martin introduced COST Action CA19145 – European Network for assuring food integrity using non-destructive spectral sensors, which is closely related SISNIR activity.

More than 90 participants from all over the word had the opportunity to listen to 26 oral presentations and nine poster presentations in six different sessions.

Organizers also prepared a book of abstracts that contains 38 contributions in English and Italian presenting state-of-the-art research related to NIR spectroscopy in a broad range of applications.
