InnoRenew CoE composites preparation laboratory

InnoRenew CoE’s composites preparation laboratory has all the necessary equipment to prepare, modify and test composite materials for use in a variety of applications, including wood panels, reinforced polymer composites, reinforced masonry and concrete, bio-based carbon activation and modification, wood impregnation and chemical treatment of organic materials.

InnoRenew CoE’s Dr Matthew Schwarzkopf, composite materials and agricultural biomass utilization researcher, and Dr Laetitia Marrot, renewable materials researcher, present the functions and applications for the lab’s polymer processing equipment and tube furnace in the video below.

Contact InnoRenew CoE today for more information about its laboratory equipment or possible collaboration.

InnoRenew CoE infrastructure and equipment investments are financed by the European Regional Development Fund and Republic of Slovenia’s Ministry of Education, Science and Sport. State-of-the-art equipment is distributed across eight laboratories.
