On Monday, 21 September 2020, InnoRenew CoE and the University of Primorska hosted an official visit from Dr. Sandro Scandolo, Head of Scientific Programmes and Outreach at the Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy.

Dr. Scandolo met with Dr. Klavdija Kutnar, University of Primorska rector, and Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, at the university’s administration building. Dr. Andreja Kutnar gave a presentation about InnoRenew CoE’s research topics and projects, and all three discussed options for collaborations and research visits between the two institutes and the university.

Since 1964, ICTP has worked with scientists from developing countries to strengthen their scientific knowledge and skills.
