Dr Andreja Kutnar, the InnoRenew CoE director, spent some days in Sweden as she visited the Luleå University of Technology. This is the northernmost university of technology in Scandinavia. They offer world-class education and research in numerous fields, including the field of Wood Science and Engineering.

Within the Wood Science and Engineering PhD programme, there is a seminar “Philosophy of Science”. Dr Kutnar gave a lecture at this seminar and shared with PhD students her expertise and passion for wood science.

Moreover, Dr Kutnar meet with professor Dr Dick Sandberg and had a fruitful discussion on the preparation of their book on wood modification.
