In September some InnoRenew CoE researchers went to Austria to a town in the broad valley of the Salzach River – Kuchl.

The reason that brought many experts and researcher from all around the world to Kuchl was the 3^rd FP1407 COST Action conference. It was organized by Salzburg University of Applied Sciences-Forest Products Technology & Timber Constructions in collaboration with the Society of Wood Science and Technology & the European Conference on Wood Modification.

Our researchers had a great opportunity to widen their knowledge on the topic of understanding wood modification through an integrated scientific and environmental impact approach and to meet with participants from many different countries.
