Valentina Hribljan

Valentina Hribljan is a researcher at InnoRenew CoE and works within the Materials research department.

She completed her undergraduate study in Biology and graduate study in Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb. Later, she continued her studies at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, where she finished a PhD in the Basic medical sciences, Neuroscience branch. During her PhD, she studied the regenerative potential of neural stem cells in an in vitro model of ischemic brain stroke.

At InnoRenew CoE she is employed as a postdoctoral fellow on the ARCHI-SKIN project ,where the aim is to develop a protective bio-coat made from engineered living materials.

In her free time, she likes to run, spend time in nature, and read a good book.
