Ondrej is a researcher and engineer at Innorenew CoE in the Advanced Manufacturing department.

He specialises in wood machining and optimisation of biobased product processing. His multidisciplinary skill set encompasses precision machine prototyping, advanced measurement technologies, and data analysis techniques. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering Sciences from Graz University of Technology, Austria, with additional expertise gained at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering Design at Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic. His versatile career includes work on smart magnetorheological fluids, prosthetic feet testing, and CAD teaching. He actively contributes to international projects and is engaged in collaborations with universities and industry partners.

When he needs a rest from research, he likes to spend time hiking in nature, climbing or visiting resonant places.
