Mateja Erce is an assistant researcher at  InnoRenew CoE and a PhD student at the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies, University of Primorska.

At the same faculty, she finished the master’s program Applied Psychology. Moreover, she is a licensed bonding psychotherapist. At InnoRenew CoE, she researches best practices in building care facilities and seeks to identify links between well-being of the elderly, quality of buildings and the environment. Her long-term desire is to contribute her piece to the mosaic of developing practices for a better quality of life for the world’s population.

In her free time, she likes to socialize, meet new people and cultures and walk in nature.
