InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researchers and members of the REMEDY project consortium participated in this year’s ELSA Summer School on Engineered Living Materials, held 13–17 July in Scotland.
Dr. Jakub Grzybek and Dr. Wojciech Pajerski, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researchers, together with Christoph Lumetzberger and Pascal Schmuck from Tiger Coatings, took part in discussions on the ethical, legal and societal aspects of Engineered Living Materials (ELMs).
The summer school was organised within the European Innovation Council (EIC) Pathfinder Engineered Living Materials (ELMs) Portfolio and took place in Glasgow and at SCENE, the University of Glasgow’s retreat on the shores of Loch Lomond. The programme brought together researchers and industry representatives to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and promote responsible innovation.
The event provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration between academia and industry and support the responsible development of Engineered Living Materials.
