  • Where were you living in childhood and where do you live now?

I spent my entire life in Brest, France.

  • What have you studied and what were the motives for your decision?

I have completed a general engineering course with a software development specialty. I wanted to continue my studies for at least 5 years after the High School because it was something I appreciated. I have been always passionate about IT; it is for that reason I chose a specialty in software development. However, I preferred to go for an engineering training rather than pure computer science in order to extend my skills to project management.

  • How would you describe your work to someone outside your field?

If I would describe my job to someone outside my field, I would say that it consists of design and build solutions to respond to needs of people.

  • What makes you excited about your work?

The most exciting thing about my job is being constantly stimulated by a new problem or solution to implement.

  • And what is the biggest challenge at your work?

The biggest challenge is to understand the demand and to properly meet the needs of the applicants.

  • Tell us about the work of art (books, music, movies, theatre, dance, visual arts) that has a special place in your life.

I like to read novels especially fantasy novels. One of my favorite authors is David Gemmel. I also enjoy reading detective novels such as those of French authors Eric Giacometti and Jacques Ravenne.  Video games also have a special place in my life because they allow me to escape from the real world. I am not an art lover but I have a special attachment to Banksy’s works.

  • What have you read, listened to, or watched lately?

Lately, I have read the last novel of Eric Giacometti and Jacques Ravenne, “Le graal du diable”, in French. I have watched the anime “Assassination Classroom”. The last movie I saw was “The Count of Monte Cristo” with the French actor Pierre Niney.
