Hosting students from Faculty of education

Dr. Črtomir Tavzes, InnoRenew CoE researcher, welcomed in the institute’s building a group of students from the University of Primorska’s Faculty of education programme Visual Arts and Design.

In the final year of the Bachelor’s degree programme, the course New Media Theory also deals with the relationship between art and science. In this context, students set up a conceptual project with an idea concept. Additionally, students work on issues of new materials, the relationship to ecology, architecture and design.

Dr. Črtomir Tavzes, presented to them some of the activities of the different research laboratories and highlighted the construction process and the institute’s building itself. On the basis of this visit, students engaged in discussions on new approaches to art in the fields of art-technology-science.

Many of the final year students will soon be working on their thesis therefore establishing links with researchers is crucial. Finally, they also got to know the New European Bauhaus Academy activities and plans for the future.
