InnoRenew CoE hosted representatives from the Area Science Park

Eva Prelovšek Niemelä, architect and Head of research department for Creativity & Society at the InnoRenew CoE, welcomed in the InnoRenew CoE building representatives from the Area Science Park from Trieste, Italy. Guests were greeted also by Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director.

The Area Science Park decided to enlarge their scientific park with a new building that will be made in wood with specific attention on eco and green impact. Therefore, the engineering and technical department discussed with InnoRenew CoE experts about the construction process of the InnoRenew CoE building. Specifically, they discussed about the development and implementation of equitable, efficient, and effective management structure that ensures the growth and sustainability of the institute.

Eva Prelovšek Niemelä presented the innovative aspect of the construction, the sensors used to collect data about the building performances, data management and analysis, as well as all aspects related to hydraulic, electric, water plants necessary to host laboratories with technical instrumentation.

The following day Dr. Andreja Kutnar, Dr. Anna Sandak, Dr. Jakub Sandak, Dr. Michael Burnard and Dr. Miklós Krész, welcomed several companies that are based in the Area Science Park and colleagues working on sustainability projects. They presented the institute with a guided visit of InnoRenew CoE laboratories.
