This year, InnoRenew CoE, in collaboration with University of Primorska (UP), established the New European Bauhaus Academy for Sustainable Built Environments with Renewable Materials. This is one example of an innovative approach to teaching and curriculum, linking strategic international initiatives with knowledge, needs and opportunities at the local level of the University of Primorska.
Under the leadership of the UP, a pan-European consortium, the NEB Alliance, has also been set up to deliver the New European Bauhaus Academy, the flagship initiative of the European Year of Skills.
The aim is to create a hub and a diversified educational pathway that will enable the development of the necessary competences for the transformation of the construction sector – in line with the NEB principles. One of the first concrete results will be an international joint undergraduate programme in sustainable built environment, which is much needed at local and European level.
