Dr. Črtomir Tavzes and Dr. Jaka Pečnik, InnoRenew CoE researchers, visited the elementary school students at the Muta Elementary School.

They held the Wood magic workshop, which introduced to the students the different uses of wood, from paper making to the construction of wooden towers. They also presented the key properties of wood, different wood composites, why make them and why modify wood.

The workshops are funded by the Public Agency SPIRIT Slovenia to encourage more students to take up careers in the wood-processing industry.
