Dr. Michael Burnard, InnoRenew CoE Deputy director, welcomed participants of the 32^nd International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) World congress, in the InnoRenew CoE building.

He presented to them the construction process of the building, some of the institute’s key research activities and toured around the research laboratories. He focused on the research topic they are conducting in the framework of the human health laboratory.

The 32nd IASP World Congress is taking place in Piran, Slovenia from 19th – 23rd September 2023 and it aims to put the issue of suicide on the agenda globally and regionally, but it also seeks to show that action must be taken locally.
