InnoRenew CoE successfully applied for a new research project

InnoRenew CoE researchers successfully applied to the Public call for target research programmes – CRP 2021 with the project “Economic, environmental and social aspects of wood processing and its use and carbon sequestration”.

Dr Balázs Dávid will lead the project. Researchers will create a model based on the development needs, businesses and investment plans of various stakeholders, with a holistic evaluation of different scenarios for the development of wood extraction, processing and use in Slovenia.

Project partners include the Slovenian Forestry Institute and the Pulp and Paper Institute.

This project is co-financed by the Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS), Government Office for Development and European Cohesion, Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport.
