Dr Sebera publishes article in collaboration with Czech colleagues

Dr Václav Sebera, InnoRenew CoE researcher, together with colleagues from Mendel University in Brno, Barbora Vojáčková, Jan Tippner, Petr Horáček, Luděk Praus, Martin Brabec and Robert Mařík, recently published a scientific article, “The effect of stem and root-plate defects on the tree response during static loading—Numerical analysis”, in Urban Forestry & Urban Greening.

The presented research attempts to understand the interaction of stem and root-plate stiffness in relation to tree assessment results with the help of newly developed methods involving numerical modelling and optical techniques.

Urban Forestry & Urban Greening is an international journal with an impact factor of 4.021 that publishes basic and applied research, reviews and short communications.
