Dr Matthew Schwarzkopf, InnoRenew CoE researcher, visited several international universities as a guest lecturer in the past few weeks.
On 11 February 2020, Dr Schwarzkopf traveled to Croatia to visit and give a lecture at the University of Rijeka’s Faculty of Civil Engineering. In addition to his talk, he also met with researchers who presented their laboratories and research. Together, they identified common topics on which future collaboration could be built.
Later that week, Dr Schwarzkopf visited Kuchl College of Wood Technology in Austria and gave two lectures to PhD students. Researchers showed interest in research projects the InnoRenew CoE is conducting, especially Pro-Enrich.
On 16 February 2020, Dr Schwarzkopf landed in Germany. His first stop was the Eberswalde University of Sustainable Development where he presented InnoRenew CoE research activities. Following this, he visited the Technical University of Braunschweig and Fraunhofer WKI, an InnoRenew CoE founder, where he had fruitful discussions about recently achieved projects.
