The InnoRenew CoE is one step closer to building our new home in Livade. According to our estimates our new building will be finished by the year 2020.

At the beginning of February, we signed a tripartite contract for the transfer of the building right of the land at the university campus in Livade, with the Municipality of Izola and the University of Primorska. By acquiring the building permit, we came to the final implementation phase for the construction of our new research institute.

Construction is expected to begin at the end of this year. The three storey building built mainly from autochthonous stone and wood will include parking spaces, technical facilities, laboratories, seminar and conference halls, administration and research cabinets, and auxiliary facilities.

On this occasion we would like to thank the University of Primorska and the Municipality of Izola for the successful cooperation, and we wish to continue collaborating and together contribute to the development of the region.
