The beginning of October was a very busy and successful period for InnoRenew CoE. The InnoRenew Living Lab held three events: one focus group on collaboration and two workshops on the topic of creativity in the Slovenian furniture design industry and innovation in the Slovenian wood sector.

We hosted two experts from two different continents:  Prof. Eric Hansen, a global expert at InnoRenew CoE in the field of innovation and marketing from the USA and Dr. Lyndall Bull, a globally recognized expert in innovation from Australia. They led a focus group on collaboration within the manufactured home sector in Slovenia. It was attended by the facilitators and industry leaders who explored opportunities, barriers, and how the manufacturers in the wooden home industry approach collaboration.

Moreover, we had two successful workshops on topics of creativity in the Slovenian furniture and furniture design industry and the topic of innovation in the Slovenian wood sector. Prof. Hansen and Dr. Bull facilitated both workshops. The workshops were attended by over 50 participants with different backgrounds, including design, architecture, and research and hailing from different countries, which made the experience even more unique. These events provided an opportunity for people from different specialties to interact and expand their networks. Participants expressed their desire to attend future InnoRenew events.
