The last week of April 2017, the Faculty of Biotechnology of Universidade Católica Portuguesa hosted the 4th international meeting on Material/Bioproduct Interaction.

This year’s meeting revolved around food packaging and coating using new materials and bio-based or bio-sourced materials, with a focus on consumer safety. Mag. Viviana Golja of the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ), one of InnoRenew project’s partner institutions, took part in the meeting and presented about Detection of Silver Nanoparticles Present in Food Contact Paper with Simple Screening Method.
