The hydraulic press has a pressing area of 1500 x 900 mm and an opening of 400 mm. The maximum pressing force is 2700 kN (guaranteed minimum pressure on maximum specimen size is 2 MPa). The two press platens can be heated up
to 250°C. The platens have a combined heating power of 144 kW enabling the heating rate to be 1-15°C/min. The cooling capacity of the press is 1-10°C/min and is achieved in a closed circuit through a condensation cooling tank.
