The hydraulic testing system is composed by the hydraulic
power supply (HPU) with 210 bars of pressure and 100 l/min
flow, a bank of accumulators that enable dynamic
actuator's speed (bursts) of close to 1 m/s, two static actuators
with 500 mm stroke, 600 kN compression and 400 kN tension
force, one dynamic actuator with 250 mm dynamic stroke, 250
kN of compression and tension force and up to 30 Hz sinus
wave. The actuators are combined with a set of steel beams
which can be anchored into the concrete reaction floor (with a
built-in rail slot system) and set in various possible
combinations that allow testing of walls, plates, beams,
connections etc. The tested specimens can be up to 12 m long,
2 m wide and 3.4 m high.
