Vesna is an assistant researcher at the InnoRenew CoE.
She completed her Master’s degree in Social Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana. Currently she is a PhD student at the University of Primorska, Faculty of Education, majoring in Educational Sciences. In her work she is most likely to face challenges that include behavioural and emotional problems. She also writes articles on these subjects and conducts lectures for the professional and general public. She teaches pedagogy at the preschool education programme at the high school SŠ Izola.
At InnoRenew CoE she is mainly involved in the transfer of the institute’s knowledge to primary and secondary schools. Together with colleagues she is designing learning content for mainstream classes, enrichment content for gifted/students, career orientation, etc. Further she trains teachers about strategies for introducing modern innovative approaches to create innovative learning environments.
In 2022, Vesna became the Director of the new Istria Counselling Centre.
