Martina Vrhovnik is an assistant researcher at InnoRenew CoE and a PhD student at the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies, University of Primorska.
Holding a master’s degree in Audiocommunication and -technology from the Technical University Berlin, she takes a great interest in virtual acoustic environments.
Before moving to Slovenia, she worked as an acoustics engineer in the R&D department of a German loudspeaker manufacturer.
In her doctoral studies she will investigate qualities influencing acoustic comfort of timber buildings and therefore human’s state-of-health.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, good food and exploring the seaside.
