Jhansi Mamilla is a research technician at InnoRenew CoE and works in the Materials research department.
She holds Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Andhra University and both a Master’s and PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. During her PhD she worked on the development of novel catalysts for reformation of alkanes.
After her PhD, she gained extensive experience in research, academics and industry, contributing to several projects focussing on catalyst development for CO2 hydrogenation, H2 production via methanol steam reforming, biomass fractionation and development of phenolic resins. She is also interested in CSR and sustainability initiatives.
At InnoRenew CoE she will be working on the characterization of biofilms as a part of the ARCHI-SKIN project.
In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and knitting.
